Only 1 week until E-ATP London!

Our jam-packed schedule continues! Time to pack our suitcases for London as we gear up for E-ATP 2022. From October 11-13, we will be exhibiting at E-ATP, Stand 23. Join us to chat about hot topics such as transforming the exam process from in-person to remote, micro-credentialing, and powerful features that will allow for safer and more robust exams.

New brand identity

We are extra excited for you to visit us this year because we are thrilled about our brand relaunch! This launch means more to us than just a new website layout and logo; this means a look at the future of e-assessment. It means improving our platform, communicating with our customers and partners, and taking strides forward in the world where education meets technology.

Future of e-assessment

There’s no one better to ask about the future of e-assessment than our founder and CEO, Vegard Sivertsen. Check out this interview where we chat about his determination to take Cirrus’ from being the new kid on the block to a mature, professional company, ready to take on the biggest names in e-assessment.

“I wanted to create a product that would make people happy and satisfied using it. Assessments can be an absolute nightmare – complex and time-consuming – and I thought I could make the entire process so smooth that professionals and teachers would enjoy making them.”

Vegards Sivertsen – CEO & Founder, Cirrus

E-ATP Conference

If you’re attending the conference, feel free to book a personal, no-obligation meeting with a member of our team at E-ATP or pass by our booth 23 at your convenience.

There are so many interesting sessions in the conference schedule that it was hard to pick, but here are our top 3 recommendations for each day:

  • Tuesday 11 October: 2:15 pm – 3:30 pm – Lessons Learned from Remote Exam Delivery – ‘The Hard Way” – Best Practices that Came From These Case Studies
Why? We love practical case studies. Rather than reinventing the wheel, why not learn from the experience of others in the field? We’re expecting some effective best practices on helping organisations implement a new e-assessment solution.
  • Wednesday 12 October: 11:35 am – 12:20 pm Examining the Suitability of Live Remote Proctoring for Language Proficiency Assessments from a Psychometric Standpoint
Why? Remote proctoring continues to be a hot topic. We’re hoping to find out more about any differences in validity between live remote proctored exams and test centre exams, if any.
  • Thursday 13 October: 10:05 am – 10:50Questions, Answers, and Discussion with an International Panel of Psychometricians
Why? We reckon this panel discussion will be very interesting. Psychometrics are incredibly powerful when it comes to ensuring exam validity, reliability and integrity, but it’s still not very widely understood. This useful session lets the audience pick the brains of an international panel of psychometricians.

Got some extra time in London?

Just in case you’d like to let your hair down, here are our insider tips for one of the coolest cities in Europe:

  • Restaurants: Flat Iron (steak), Ipudo (ramen), NOPI (Ottolenghi)
  • Museums: Courtauld Gallery, Tate Modern, National Gallery.
  • Theatre: Ditch the musical and catch a play at the Almeida (Islington) or Donmar Warehouse (Covent Garden).
  • Staying the weekend? Check out Kew Gardens or visit Greenwich on a Thames Clipper.

We look forward to seeing you in London, Stand 23!
