As a Cirrus Product Owner, you will analyse client needs and translate them into product requirements for the software development team. You like diving into the nitty-gritty to get a clear understanding of the clients’ needs, develop a comprehensive list of requirements and communicate them to the development team. It will also be your responsibility to ensure new features are tested thoroughly before they go live. Together with the CEO and CTO, you decide the scope of our software releases and development priorities, and safeguard the continuing development of our platform. You’re not satisfied until our customers are!
What you will be doing
- You manage and prioritise the product backlog.
- You translate the Product Managers’ strategies into development tasks.
- You listen and learn from the market and client needs.
- You serve as the link between customers and the software development team.
- Where required, you answer questions and clarify issues for the development team.

E-assessment is a complex part of the learning process, with extensive workflows before, during and after the exams; the associated data processing complexity is reflected in our online exam platform. We work hard to stay true to our vision: To keep Cirrus easy to use and at the same time incredibly powerful. This demands significant empathetic qualities and smart creativity from our Product Owners. Next to that, we ensure that assessment and psychometric science always underpin the functioning of our platform.
Who are you?
With your in-depth knowledge of our platform you can hold your own in technical conversations with the development team. Because of your affinity with software development, you stay on top of all our platform developments, and are a expert point of contact for our customers.

- Do you have an analytical mind, and can you quickly get to the heart of any issue?
- Are you empathetic and do you have affinity with UX?
